Little Flowers of St. Peter is a K-8 Girls Club that explores the Catholic faith through the teachings of saints, especially St. Thérèse the Little Flower.
Through or Service and Adventure activities, we develop leadership and virtue
Little Flowers is a Catholic scouting program built on the spirituality of St Thérèse the Little Flower of Liseux. Through a beautifully simplistic framework, we develop faith through our study of Saints and Scripture. We practice service and develop leadership through our charitable activities. We are guided by a national framework from Behold Publications If you'd like to know more about the official organization go here.
We gather our youth for faith formation, fun, service, and skill-building. We meet once per month for a lesson, once for an activity, and service opportunities as they arise throughout the year. Though we are a girl-focused ministry for grades K-8, siblings and parents are always welcome to participate as appropriate.
Most Little Flower groups gather once a month for a craft, snack, and life skills lesson based on a virtue, a saint, and a type of flower. They earn badges and share faith. We do these same activities but have included more scouting activities such as camping, canoeing, and hiking and we are a service ministry as well so we serve at parish and community functions.
