The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian faith, as explained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The People of God gather at the Sunday Eucharist to be fed by the Word of God and by the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, and by the community present. Families eagerly look forward to First Holy Communion, which is celebrated during the Easter season for parish second graders.
School Age Children
Parish children receive their classroom preparation for the Sacrament of the Eucharist in St. Peter Grade School, our Parish School of Religion or a private Catholic grade school. We are happy to include parish Catholic Home School children in this preparation. Each family is required to have a parent in attendance at the beginning informational meeting in February. In a very special way, the children and families experience the living community of St. Peter Parish!
