Veni, Sancte Spiritus!  Come, Holy Spirit!

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes a Catholic's initiation into the Church.  Initiation begins at Baptism and is deepened in the life of the community in the reception of the Eucharist.  Confirmation completes the initiation and strengthens the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in the candidates. 

Parish youth are confirmed during the Easter season of their eighth grade year.  Eighth graders in our Parish School of Religion, St. Peter Grade School and those attending private Catholic schools participate in a year-long program called Decision Point created by  DynamicCatholic.com.   All attend two Sunday sessions and a retreat together and participate in organized service projects.  Classroom preparation takes place in either the PSR program or St. Peter School religion classes or private school options.
