What Is Stewardship?
Stewardship starts with prayer. Many think it starts with reaching into our wallets. In reality, it starts with reaching into our hearts. The first gift we are called to give each day is the gift of time spent with God, in Prayer. It is there we begin to fully understand His special plans for us.
Growing in the Practice of Stewardship
"We're all familiar with the 3 Ts (time, talent and treasure), but as a way of helping us all grow in our understanding and practice of stewardship, I'd like to suggest that we take stewardship even more seriously by focusing our attention on the 2 Ps of stewardship: Prayer, Participation and Payback." ~ Archbishop Robert J. Carlson, Jan. 19, 2010
Called To Serve
Give and it will be given to you (Luke 6:38)
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have. (Hebrews 13:16)
What Does God Want?
God simply wants you to be thankful for the gifts and blessings of your life and to reflect your gratitude in your daily way of life. Think about what’s possible. Listen to your heart. Challenge yourself to grow. That’s what God wants.
Have an idea to share...or an individual or group's stewardship you'd like us to highlight?
Please jot it down, put it into an envelope labeled “Stewardship Suggestion”, and either put it in the Offering Basket or drop it off at the Parish Office.
Please remember St. Peter Catholic Church in your will.
